well they look pretty spindly and prone to bendage
but a mate of mine has been riding his 84 cali since 96 (it was mine bitd, then when i sold it, it spent years in someones shed before getting rescued) and his forks hold up to some beatings

I think this is going to turn into another debate like the Diamond Back one recently about whether or not it is full cro-mo!!!
I will scan the BMX Action Sep 83 tonight - prob is whenever I upload scanned magazine pages they seem to resize themselves so you can't quite read them! - any tips??

if you use photobucket go into account options i think and change default max file size
can be up to 1 meg now :daumenhoch:
with the ones i post up i normally use about 150 dots per inch resolution and resize to get to about less then half a megabyte
readable but not huge

Have an 83 uk cali which is chromoly Main frame and an 85 usa expert which is the same. I always thought the cali was the better bike in terms of frame and parts???? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

just checked and mine was 1983 expert
All tubes chromoly frame, Mild Steel Forks, Chrome Steel Pro class wheels
