Headset issue !!!

I have a 95 sport diet I imported from the states it has haro mega forks on it to and I tryed an inch headset on it but the cups fit the frame but the threaded forks are too big any idea if they're 1"1/8 if so where can I get threaded headset that size any help welcome thanx people
