BB info needed - please look and work out !

while i was also at the carboot today i bought this

BB - has Cr-Mo CV-170 84 -C ? Is that a year or just parts number ?

does any one know who's make it is and what year it is from ?

















i tried putting the cups into my 83' goose frame - one side fitted nice but the other side is about 1mm all round small ? ? can't work out why ? any one ?




also from the carboot today was a 25.4 double bolt Fishbone seat clamp



and a SunTour 17t freewheel

do the cups look right for a tioga set ? the rest seem to match or so, but the inside cup edge is not the same - and it still doesn't explain why one of the cups is out by a mill all around ?

It's one of these B. Got one here all exactly the same except my axle is stamped 83-C & has a little Tange logo (could be a year thing) 8)
Tange also released it in their own branded packaging. Got another CV-170 Axle from a CK-170DX BB Set with no logo or date stamp.
