FREEWHEEL ADVICE

<< < (6/6)

Dark Diggler:
Halo clickster are worth reading up on, under £35 if you look around.

I have used the white ones, they are brilliant and serviceable too, if you can afford it get one, if not,  GT ratchet,Halo clickster or ACS crossfire pro are your practical alternatives in the premium freewheel department.

having said that, I put a lot of faith in the Halfords ones, nice n quiet and I have never had a single problem or issue with them in over 10 years of riding n racing them.

shimmys n suntour are shite if ya gonna ride properly, IME

But lets be honest here, for the occasional rider there's nowt wrong with a DICTA is there?

bmxband1t77:
Its weird you know, all the years i was bmxing as a lad, i cant remember once not once i had a freewheel fail on me.
freestyle and racing....i think i even moved freewheels over when i traded in wheels etc.....

bmxband1t77:
Looking at halfords online theres a choice of Dicta freewheels. That seems to be it?
