Dia Compe Breaks - blacking out the indentation
punkdSICO:
Hi all
How has this guy blacked out the indentation (before/after shot):
I think it looks pretty cool and, I will be polishing mine up very soon. I quite fancy doing the blacked indentation affect..

Did my front Nippon myself, the painter at work gave me a small pot of black paint and a small pointed metal rod and I just carefully dabbed away!
Once it had dried I carefully scraped any excess paint off with a nail and it came out sweet! :daumenhoch:

I used black paint and thinned it out a little. Brushed it into the gaps and let it dry. Polished off the excess with Autosol. Repeated it a second time to get better coverage.

Nice.. Yours look better than the ones in the link I posted - your graphic has a sharper edge..
Defo going to give this a go.
Good suggestion about doing it in a colour to match the bike!!
