It's great stuff!  clear protective tape for anything.  I got a roll off ebay for about £8 and it covered my carbon frame's downtube and other bits.

Can be a bit of a fooker to put on without bubbles but worth a go  :daumenhoch:

The only thing about the helicopter tape is that I have to use water...
which I think will damage the print.
But was thinking about taping the chrome next to the stickers and lacqer them.
or sticky clear vinyl..

you don't have to use water at all, just be careful and take your time.  i never used water on my MTB frame
