can you spin down a 25.4 seat post to 22.2 - -well can you

-25.4-22.2 = 3.2
in galf = 1.6
is there enough goo to have 1.6mm from them?
i.e. are they 5mm wall?
to end up 3.4

tthere should be dude...the top of the post is turned down to take the seat post clamp which is 7/8" (22.2mm)... so in theory the post is the same wall thickness all the way ;)
