Birmingham Wheels Project Bike-Finished Pics 24/7/11
jp-rebel:
I have been involved in this hobby for near on 10 years and although I am not a massive forum user I am amazed and grateful for the advice and help that is on tap on Radbmx, so this post is a big thank you for the help and advice I have received over the years from Radsters.
My latest dilemma was needing a set of Decals for a Birmingham Wheels frameset so thanks in particular to Jaymz for the artwork offer I did not need in the end but appreciated none the less :daumenhoch: ,Animal for the advice :daumenhoch: , Dirtskirt for the close ups of his Nos Pad logos :daumenhoch: , Bullseye and his Brother for the lone of the NOS Seat Tube And Head Badge Decals :daumenhoch: and last but no least thanks to Del for the amazing art work and finished Decals :daumenhoch:.
From the internet I only found around 6 examples B’ham Wheels frames and to complicate matters although they all use the same design Decals they all were applied in different positions and configurations, I can only assume they were originally supplied loose for self application also they were available in gold or black, as my Frame is chrome I decided black would show up best.
This is the finished set, the gold Head and Seat Tube are the decals on lone from Bullseye .The build is not far from being done so watch this space for the finished Bike 8) .

Glad you got it sorted fella, what year is the frame? Those decals look really late 70's in style, the kind of neon writing shapes, cant wait to see the finished bike now

Yeah they do look very retro dont they ;) not sure on the age of the Frame but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be around 83-85 as I think they made the first in 83 and stopped some time mid 80's ,The Wheels logo has not changed much through the years, check the link:
