KMC Chain help/advice?

Picked up a silver/black KMC chain from a GT Pro series bike from around 89/90,my question is? Its stamped KMC and RJ aswell,is it any good,it looks stronger than todays versions? any ideas please lmk,thx  :daumenhoch:
