do ogk grips dye?

here we go then -

the kit -



giving them a bath in boiling water to "open the pores up." -



the bath -



done -





they are black but look "salt stained."  they look mint after a wipe with a baby wipe but the wipe goes a bit purple so i'm going to wait a couple of hours until they totally dry and maybe give them a wipe over with tyre shine.............?  unless theres any other suggestions......?

you could try a second dye to see if they will get blacker  ;)
