my latest project(dont get too excited)my first bmx!!

well a couple of years ago a girl that i knew from my school days saw on facebook that i was into old school bmx.she was a bit of a tomboy bitd,she rode motocross after bmx then went onto become the first female speedway rider!!anyways she asked me if i wanted her old viceroy bmx that was kicking about in her dads garage,a viceroy was my first bmx at christmas 83,it was chrome and red,every part was a snide,copy this copy that and i fookin detested it!! iwas desperado for a db viper but my dad was too tight to part with £150 so i ended up with a £99 viceroy.i hated it so much that i carried on riding my raleigh strika till about the march when i finally jumped on the viceroy and pimped it out with a set of copy star bars and an et frame pad,well rad!!
 she contacted me last week and said she was about town(she lives in newcastle now) and said it a shame to let this viceroy rust away and did i want it,well here it is,my first bmx!!


ive got a feeling this is a first gen viceroy and mine was a second.mine still had the goosey gusset but was a loopy and had a red viscount aero seat.this one got a snide suntour stem mine had a snide mongoose double jobby.she said the shimano sx were put on by her as i mentioned mine had victor dx on a one peice.check out the original pads tho,all ready to be dyed back to proper red and the original doen tube decal,shame the rust has got to it but some of it is picking off back to fresh chrome.she also mentioned a couple of years back that she had a curtis as well,unfortunatley she couldnt find it,she said today that her dad rented the house out a few years back and the tennants sold everything in the garage except the viceroy!!as much as a pos that it is its still great to have my fist bmx again,you never see these about,and to this day im still very proud that i chose this over a burner :D

i sure is  sam,altho i need to change a few bits,wanna get a set of flights!! :2funny:
just jesting!!its actually got a tange seat clamp in very tidy condition,i might sell  it as mine had a really crud one like a burner

i may have a crud seat clamp to help you on your way, just like a mongoose one without the mongoose name on....      ;)
