Work on the ratio of 2.75 : 1
So a 16 suits a 44, 15 suits a 41, 14 suits a 38, 13 suits a 36.
Not set in stone, but that is the rule of thumb.
pickle:
cheers guys.......Spen my hub isn't flip flop so will have to make do with the 16t and 40 something up front :daumenhoch:
oldtired:
i'm running 41/16 with 180 cranks on the sport , not like Spen to get clearence as the bashguard sort of negates the kneed :LolLolLolLol: but it is a nice and easy gearing for park use allows fast accelleration over short distances rather than the useual gear ratio, dont kneed to crank real hard at full speed towards the ramps mainly cos i daren't :LolLolLolLol:, but you can get quite fast with only a few cranks nice in a liitle space , have ago at BR if you like see what ya thinks :daumenhoch:
Spen69:
Rob, just re-lace a flip-flop in or a n/s cassette 9T drive as 16/15T is hopeless bud....
Simples init?
