Exposure Dave Tires
oldtired:
wondering if its just been a duff one start with , its a though ths side walls twisted so tread has a S shape in it about 20mm left to right , no up/down movement :uglystupid2:
Spen69:
Joe, Lifer BMX sell tham and I see Paul Harorider has a set for sale at the moment.
Jim, you need to lay off the pies mate, I hammer the fook out of mine all night at Leicester and Melton and they've been perfect. I do keep at least 60psi in them though mate - possibly a duffer?
pickle:
i'd say it was a duffer like you say Spen, was going to go for a set of these till the Lamello's came up :daumenhoch:
oldtired:
i know i'm dragging up a dead thread but thought i might post it up as a bit of info for those who might be slightly interested , public info an all that , "ooooo look he's waving now cooooooeeeeeee" :LolLolLolLol:
on closer inspection it would appear that the nylon? thread that is used to make the weave inside the wall of the tire has started to break and pull away fom the bead , this is in the same place as the deformation in the tread , so i can only assume this is the problem , just though you might like to know , would also seem to be the same problem that a few of the local new schoolies had so i'm wondering if its been a bad batch thats been shipped to my area , there's only one lbs left round here so i think the young uns might have got them from the same shop ,
not sure if its worth doing for what they cost but, think i'll take it back and see what they say , i'll take me old mum and her biggest handbag always worked in halfords when i was a nipper :daumenhoch: :LolLolLolLol:
pickle:
Hmmmm not good, my mum always used to say 'you buy cheap, you buy twice'
