cheers for all the info chaps it will be a great help as i get along with this build
there is a  a few more questions  8)

as for the grips it has mongoose logo ones on it now that used to be red
some chap is selling repop ones on the bay will they be ok

and it used to have a front brake on it as there was just a spindle left
it was a dia-compe brake any ideas what this would have been

If the repop grips are from bmxproducts.com they are taken from original molds and are fully licensed - they are very good.

The dia compe brake will have been an 890 or 1020  :daumenhoch:
