Gyro question, is it just me or.....

Got my Oddy2 gyro set up, but its utterly useless as a stopping tool.  I quite expected this as more parts = more friction = less effective brake, but I was hoping I would be wrong.

Are there any tips or tricks on how this can work well and actually stop me compared to a regular back brake set up?

I didn't Glen, straight outta the box.  Did you just drop some lube down the inner cables as they are fixed in no?

What did you find works best?

when i set up the spin tech on my decade i used brand new linear cables.utterly useless until  i used 3in1 all over the moving parts.it now works perfectly.
