Awesome wheel builders
Tidelander:
As we are going into winter and some of those projects that have been sitting all summer in the shed might start getting done ::) thought I'd start a new post of where to current, good wheel builders. I have tried (and failed) doing them myself and finding a good builder at a good price (i.e. not bike shop prices) is pretty hard
To kick off - nominate Pete from Rat Race Cycles. He is awesome. Based in South London but is mobile and will collect from most places in and around London. He will also build them for you if you just ship him the bits and he can ship them back. Charges are around £25 for a straightforward build
His contact details are 07884 000 625 or pete@ratracecycles.com
He has built three sets if wheels for me, inlcuding these http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/gt_bicycles/47664
Post 'em up if you have similar good experiences

I have all my wheels built at custom riders. They all come out lovely and true. They don't take long either. :4_17_5:
However there is a downside! They have a massive shop loaded to the rafters with bmx stuff. So everytime you go in there your wallet becomes some what lighter! :LolLolLolLol:
If your super lucky Mason might do your wheels himself. Between running his bmx business empire! :daumenhoch:
