RALEIGH RACING R7000 Cruiser - Revisited
Glynnyboy:
Been meaning to do some update pics of this since radchester . Anyway I got the chance yesterday so another trip up to Bradford bmx track.
I know tuffs aren't everyone's cup of tea but I like how they look on this.
I had always had in mind to use my raleigh cruiser as a rider. As the bike started to come along though i changed my mind and wanted to enter the bike up as a show pony 1st of all.
After BB11 and MK11 were out of the way the transformation to rider status took place. I got the bike ready for Radchester and have to say i have enjoyed every ride out on it since.
Gone are the Nos tech3's and mx900's - Replaced with tech 6 levers on rider conditon mx1000's
The Raleigh bars, oakley b1b's and re-linished & chromed tuff neck stem - Replaced with Robinson cruiser bars, ame tri's and a profile xxl stem.
The DX seat post and kashimax MX - Replaced with tioga layback and viscount mx branded aero.
The araya's on suntour LFCP hubs with silver grey comps are now Skyway alloy hubbed 24's (re issue) on cheing shing.
The redline 401's with suntour beartraps are now a takaji 180 with tuff neck disc and sugino chainring with haro pedals.
Basically it's a totally differant bike altogether.
Anyway hope you like. I just sussed out how to use the forums hyperlink system so if you click on the words below it will take you to the rest of the photo's

BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
Lokking very sweet glynny mate - the pic's look like that could have been taken back in the day 8)
Jon The Bassist:
Good stuff - I like to see a bike being ridden [although that's not always possible/practical].
Looks more 'rideable' with a longer stem on - it's the only way I can get on board the Falcon cruiser :daumenhoch:
