dyeing a seat
oldskooldayz:
If i dye a yellow seat blue i imagine it will turn green, can anyone confirm this or will it turn blue ?
BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
yes it will turn green ;)
:shocked:but
it will be a dirty green like army green
when making a nice bright green, it's yellow with a touch of blue - but when adding blue onto a yellow seat it might just turn blue but it will not be a kashi blue as far as i can work out and know - it is more than likey to make it into a sea green / army green
it's hard to say but if the seat is worth money then i would just dye it yellow and sell it and put the money towards the right colour seat
this is just my thoughts - so see what others say
cheers B
oldskooldayz:
I think you spot on mate and i thought it would turn green anyway but just wanted to check
the seat is a cheap one anyway but thought it was worth asking as i cant seem to get a blue seat at the mo :LolLolLolLol:
thanks for the reply :daumenhoch:
Discostu:
Why don't you buy a repop dominator seat in blue from pork chop. They are reasonably cheap and are exactly the same as the original. Just stamped with a current date. I take it that you want it for your Haro retro so I can't see the problem with fitting a repop. If it was ment to be era correct it might be a bit different. Hope this helps stu :daumenhoch:

ive just dyed a yellow tuff red and it turned out red, it should dye blue because your not mixing the colours
