if its got a 16t on then its a big thread and wont get a 14t freewheel on

if its got a 15t on then its a small thread then you could use a 14t freewheel

I did a thread about this a while ago now as I run a 13T Oddysey freewheel on my park bike with a 36T drive at the front - I'll dig it out an post a link up, but you need a flip-flop hub.

Best thing is, you can keep the old-school look about the bike, but with the mid-school, lmost new school coping clearance (which is why I assume you're asking?)

If you don't have a flip-flop, you're stuck at a 15T if you can find one, and it might be worth buying a new hub and lacing it in or even a new wheelset I'm afraid :-\

thats the beauty now a lot of people have said in past the 13t ones are shite as they arent very strong because of the size but ive been running one for over year and riding 2 or 3 times a week on track and until last week had no probs with it so i reckon a year on a 15.00 freewheel is acceptable to me .
i have now ordered a white industriesw 16t though lol

if it's for a race bike then i don't see the point in going all micro geared  :-\

16t and 44t work just fine for a track bike.

Park bike?  now that's a diferent kettle of fish
