Converting 1/2 to 9/16th XC-II

Probably a very basic question. Can you change a pair of 1/2" XC-II's to 9/16th's for 3 piece cranks. If so where can I get just the axle/spindle to change it - is there a generic type?

You can interchange the spindles.
There is a guy on ebay USA who is usually selling 9/16 inch repro spindles if you do a search

Yes it can be done I have changed 1/2" to 9/16" myself. What size are you after pretty soon I will have a spare set of 1/2" XC II Spindles.
