..modify my front MX901 caliper for A POTTS MOD if i send it to them?i dont have patience for stuff like this as well as knowledge!can anyone help??

901's don't usually mod well as the brake arm design is usually too high to fit under most downtubes

probably ok on a performer but if its a straight downtube like my dp not a prayer as it will snap the cal in half

Terry , don't ruin the caliper ,, just buy /trade for a DC 880 , the best solution

just get a front or even a rear 880 and swap your front spindle over

Thanks man,my thoughts exactly!had an ad in trades for a while with no response.good idea about the rear 880 i wouldnt have thought of that,might make life easier!nice one!

i've read loads of times people getting rid of the quick release on brakes and there's no need, all i did bitd was stick an adjuster where the pinch bolt was and remove the weinmann adjuster and stick a pinch bolt in.
