Different Raw metal finish

Got a 4x frame on ebay, in OK nick but chipped, so set about it with gasket remover and got it rawed, ready for my buddy and all round nice chap 1mancity2-Allistar to paint it but I was clueless what colour to go for, when he saw it he said why not burn it in the paint oven and then if you like it, we can clear powdercoat it, satin, 2 days later he came round with said frame and I loved it so it got clear coated and looks really nice, it kinda changes colour in the light. He knows his shit does our Allistar (clearly he has poor football taste though)





I have always liked raw, done a few myself with rattle can clear coat but this is stunning

that finish looks really great - am guessing that being cr-mo there wouldn't be any strength issues caused by the oven heat
would like that done to my mirraco frame/forks and bars as it's got a few scuffs here and there but was thinking of just getting it stripped and spraying lacquer on it
