best way white brake rub off black tuffs

hardly any on the side walls whats best way of getting it off

fine wire wool and white spirit or the edge of a stanley blade and rub gently  :daumenhoch:
or better still if your riding them leave it on as it helps with the braking  :daumenhoch:
