Acorn mag resto

Picked these up from fellow rad member as a project to see if i could restore them, they were pretty rough when i first saw them.   :-\
The freewheel was rusted on and the hubs were seized.


Then after stripping the hubs off and sorting bearings, mags were put in bleach for couple days and then cleaned, hubs wire wooled and bolted back on after a little polish up.
Now looking like new!
This is the front one so far.   :smitten:


Now i am waiting for a new bearing on rear as had to smash it out when putting in vice to remove freewheel. Hubs had a polish and will post up a pic of rear once put back together.

I had the first versions with thinner spokes! Acorn Magnums? they were soooo flexy... I hope these a better.
