You'd have thought they'd have been in there first with sealed hubs :-\,,,,but
Skyway did sealed bearings in their 1984 3rd gen Graphites,Dave :)
There were 3rd party companies who made sealed hub conversions for Tuffs that were bolted on too

you had to be posh to afford them fookers back then though lol.
i remember a place just up the road from where we lived in penkridge started doing a bolt in conversion but never lasted long :-\

I got a black pair of these on my GT, roll really smooth, the rear has never run true, but they take my weight OK. Also just got a NOS pair in cream (Shop soiled) for £40 off the bay, I'm hoping to get them whiter, with the bleach method, these will go on my boys ride (Or he'll get the black)

I dont know if it is relevant but i used 50/50 bleach to water, 6 litres of each. was a strong mix, then rubbed em down with scourer and fairy powerspray.
Then rinse and dry.

They sound like the ones i got!from bankrupt_bike_parts??I used neat bleach,8 litres of it i think and still no result!!report how you get on dude,be interesting to see if you have a better result!! :daumenhoch:
