Looking great, so the two you have made arent going to be used, you will make a mould from them and make cast from that?
If so so what happens to all the original parts, will you build up another one using them?

Yes correct. These will be used to make a mould and then probably stashed away somewhere. It's useful to keep the patterns as I might need to remould them at a later date.

Skilled, doesn't do you justice Joe. I can't wait to see more updates. Do you know if Steve is checking progress or will he just see the finished replica?

Yeah I send him pics and updates and he replies with things like "ey up joe, that looks spot on does that" haha, proper Sheffield! He's gonna love it when it's done. I printed out a 1 to 1 scale colour print for the size of the model and couldn't believe how big it's gonna be. It's the same scale as the ripper but obviously a big travel downhill rig is way bigger than an 80's bmx!
