what does the 2 or 4 mean above the serial number of gt's

im looking at one on us bay and its a question from someone else,but i have no idea what it means.

The 2 means Expert size frame, the 4 means Pro size.

24's had these numbers as well, as they introduced an Expert/Junior cruiser around 82-83. I've only known of one exisiting so far tho.
