Where can I get a large cheap pot for dyeing seats??
Dark Diggler:
Dig a hole in some deserted woodland, works for me :daumenhoch:
DJL:
I use a normal plastic bucket, stand it in a sink of boiling water, fill with boiling water, add salt/pepper/dye etc, cover with a bin bag, then a towel, then heavy books to keep the heat in, mix every half hour for three hours until done - sprinkle on mixed herbs etc, done.
I've done about 5 in the last couple of months, all spot on.....
BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
Was just looking for a thread as i know i died a seat and used a cooking pot - found one on BW - here what i did and with what
was asked by AK GUFF to see if this kashi seat would bleach back to white - it was white but sun had damaged it, turning it to a lumo yellow in places
bleach took the side decals off, but sadly didn't it would turn any whiter due to the sun getting through the plastic
before (camera changes colours and hides some of the lumo yellow )
so later this day it went for a colour change as it has now been sold to Londonhellboy - red was the play
colour test, so it wouldn't turn out to orange - using scarlet red and 35% pargoda red dylon dye
testing it out on my 83' Goose (no ! wife it's not being built up in the lounge slowly :angel:/ >:D)
cheers B ;)
deeman:
