3=1983 (1980 is 0, 1981 is 1 etc)
F= June (January is A, Feb is B etc)
00580 is the serial number

I think that's how they do it.

When I get round to getting mine powdered, I'm planning to get the original design decals in a custom colour. Just got to find someone who can do it. Hopefully Del will be up and running again by the time it happens.
