(1/2) > >>

factory pilot:
I just got some replacement dust/end caps from the bay for my sugino 400 crank and was absolutely gutted when they arrived as they were dull as anything.
I tool a punt and put them in a glass of Coke over night and in the morning they came up good as new and were shiny minty fresh...result!!! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: Has anyone else used 'the real thing' to clean/restore any other old bmx parts? What would it do to crome ?
Any thoughts people ?

stidds:
Coke is ace for parts restoring, have a search on here for the old 'coke and tin foil' frame restoration threads.
