MY NEXT 3 BUILDS MK2 GOOSE 1ST 2nd BIKE FINISHED update
h2ggv:
Just cleaned the spokes :)
Didn't do much yesterday as we picked Our new dog up.
Will get the chrome frame one finished today and wait till the motomags and frame come Wednesday. And the frame should be powder coated by then.
Fitted the redline bb that was the 1st one I have done a little trickie and tight :(
Put the wheels on have that many parts kicking about don't know what to put on it
Also won 8 bike stands off eBay and the back wheel didn't sit in right. I had seen someone do this before but anyone who ain't here you go
:D :D
BMX1973:
Those calipers and wheels look 1st class :4_17_5:
How did you get those wheels & hubs so blinging without removing the spokes? Must have been a nightmare getting into the Knnoks & Crannies!
Looking forward to seeing these built.

How I done the wheels.
1. Sprayed the wheels with loads of engine degreaser let them soak for 20 min.
2. Went over them with fine wire wool and a stiff toothbrush in the hard to reach places.
3. Repeated step 1 :D
4. Wire wool again and also sprayed with wd40 type oil
5. Done the spokes with heavy wire wool.
6. Then put the wheels on the buffer then polished with peek.
7. Fitted new wheel nuts. The freewheel is the one that came with the wheels
:D :D
It's just all about time I normly just by nos parts or mint but it's much moe satisfying doing it yourself.
My local pound shop sells the sprays in 500mm tins so I use a lot of this

Fair play that's a lot of hard work.
Awesome results though.
