Tech 3 Lever with V Brake

Can anyone advise whether a Tech 3 lever will work with a modern V type brake?
I know V brakes need more cable pull than old cantis.

Anyone tried it?

Tried with a Tech 4, crap. Was ok on a U brake though, but shit on a V brake.

 :) Will work but not well,as you say not enough pull on a caliper lever.
