peek polish and goddard cloth
Magoo:
The bigger Tesco stores sell Peek metal polish :daumenhoch:
I've not seen the Goddard cloth though. BITD I'd use Duraglit, orangy coloured impregnated wadding that came in a tin, dunno if you can still buy it though?

i'll look in to tesco's then. i'm going to try and do my ukai rims as shiney side's. i was hoping to get started this week so i'm looking into what to finish polishing them with. with regarding chrome and nickel polishing i used brasso wadding on my goose nickel forks and that removed light rust spots and brought them up very good
animal:
I swear by Peek and goddards cloth they bring most things back 2 life if u got the patience 2 keep polishing like a good un ;) Got both of mine online :daumenhoch:
markyp:

he did, as he is me ;D
the peek is to smooth out the surface - hair line scratches reflect the light in different ways ~ so hence you see the light from different angles - peek is a soft paste that flattens most surfaces and doesn't leave the lines - hence you can get a reflective surface or mirror look - how much of a polished look you want will be down to how long and hard you use it
the goddard cloth helps bring up the surface on most metals as it has a polish in it already - you can make a peeked surface look better or you can simply use a yellow dust - try it all in different ways on different stuff - a goddards cloth can also make powder frames look sweet
me i use peek then goddards cloth and then you can even use house hold polish after witha duster
just try and see what works best
