Bugger!!!!

Well thought I had found an undisturbed bike shop yesterday......

As I peered through the windows, that looked as though they hadnt been cleaned since the eighties, I could see a few early nighties MTB's, they looked brand new but had signs of rust on them which I thought was a good sign of things to come, also a load of second hand bikes out the back. As I walked in the shop had that familar smell only an old bike shop has, I quickly scanned around the place but couldnt really see much. But there were signs that this guy had been a main dealer back in the day, certainly for Raleigh anyways. Shopkeeper comes through and I ask him if he has any old BMX parts, his reply was no, and that he had sold them all over the last fw years to people restoring Choppers, Burners and the likes.........Bugger!!!!

I'm sure there are still a load of these small independent shops scattered about the place which are just waiting to be discovered?!

Believe me they've probably all been rinsed...!!

There are  more then we know matei recently found one also  that has still loads of good laying around

First rule is   never  speak to another  of where or who it is: cause the next time you go there its cleaned out by someone else

I think for this country Danny, most shops have been cleaned out as mouthwasp says, but I reckon there will be one or two little treasures waiting to be discovered.
