Aero zytec sealed bearing question.....
The Burner King:
Don't know if anyone has tried this, but is it possible to change the bearings in the hubs of aero zytecs?
They are sealed ones, but inside the bearings are open. I know you can buy sealed bearings but they are normally closed both sides? Could you use a set of that type to replace the zytec ones. The rear bearings in mine sound a bit rough, they look OK and i've greased them but they just don't sound right.
I don't even know what size to get so if anyone can help please let me know.
Cheers J

you could knock them out to see if there's a number on them, then see if a bearings supplier has them or measure the outside o.d, inside o.d and width and check that way.

Gonna stick one half of the hub in the oven tonight and take the bearings out, they come out easy once heated up.
