Mongoose grips...

Hi folks,

got some red gusset goose grips off the bay, they are the shorter ones so not re-pops as such but they are marked Taiwan on the flange.

What would they have come off? One of the Taiwanese rather than usa builds?

Oh and will they dye black  :P

Faded - more of a pinkie red, nice and soft still though.

I was going to bid on them, but felt they wouldn't dye - you could try it and use a fixer with it ? you have nothing to loose i guess unless

they are cool but are they copy's - original's - or for a different market goose ?  ???
