Whats the best way to remove break rub from white Skyways?
Cheers :daumenhoch:

fine graded sandpaper :daumenhoch:

Two ways
You can wash them and see what comes off, but if it's black brake rub or so ~ this means that when the rubber gets hot it leaves lines on the rim + mix this with dust and dirt and it ingrains in to the rim ::)
you can sand it down/off with a high grade wet and dry 600 - 800 - 1200 onwards till it's all gone and a nice smooth finish is there - don't rush it and take care - the best results come from time taken and just working each grade at a time
the other way is a Razor/Stanley blade - you need to keep it at a 45% angle (blade facing out or at the back going forward ) and pull the blade along with a bit of force that it scrapes off the top of the rim - be careful as it can slip and cut a line into the rim or your hand - best to practice and know your fingers are feeling - do it out side as loads of bits come off ;D
just what you prefer and feel that you can do
cheers B ;)

Buy white pads ;)
As ever, Bendy is bob on :daumenhoch:

:-\ you still get a dirt line with white pads - but it does help ;) or just ride it around in the lounge on the carpet ;D
