What is giving it away as not being a beat?

On a 85 beat the rear stander U bit is a tube not a plate, they used the plate on stylers later on and on the 87 beats, but they had AD lugs underneath the chainstays which this doesn't.
take a look at the last pictures in my bikes section of my green 85 beat and my chrome 87 and you can see the difference  :daumenhoch:
