Repro kashi and dia compe
Dan73:
Morning.
It's been a year or so since my last build, mainly due to house moves and a baby.
Just gettting going again and I've noticed how readily available reproduction dia compe and kashimax stuff is.
What do people make of it? Is it regarded as ok to use as long as it's not being passed off as OG? What's the quality like?
I'm a lot more stretched for cash these days so it appeals there too.
Cheers,
Dan

The Kashi seats are fine bro and work well on budget builds and riders, great repro imo. The DC calipers, another thing altogether. Absolute tosh. Stay away from them if I was you :daumenhoch:

I had a repop Kashimax and IMO they are very good quality as you'd expect, however some of the colours are a slightly different shade and they have a shiny mark on top them, but on the whole given the price they are perfect for a rider.
The new Dia Compe stuff is a poor imitation of the old stuff.

They are great :coolsmiley: 3 differences really, only say MKS BM-7 on the cages not MKS BM-7 BMX, spindles are silver and not black and the end caps are chrome not black. Apart from that, they are bang on to the originals :daumenhoch:
Moonster also does the NITTO S/S seatposts. Bang on and awesome :daumenhoch:
Look out for more from this guy including the new Black/Chrome Izumi chain not available in the UK yet but is everywhere else :crazy2:
