Thats quite a bit more than 10%. Its more like 20% (current VAT rate) PLUS charges whatever they are. Still, im an expat so not too bothered. It means that ill get the last condor in the world (of this frame length) for the same as it cost retail in the UK when it wa available

You can always question these things if you wish. Perhaps they didn't swallow the gift thing and have estimated the value and therefore the duty amount? Ask the question - might be nice to know for the future.
