Delivered today:- a Shadow Conspiracy Seth Kimbrough signature seat from 2010!! Super sick design and in great condition for its age. I bought it to put on my race bike but it's so cool that now I'm not so sure. ;D

Bought today;- Four RideNow polyurethane inner tubes. I've always been dubious about these but AliExpress had such a great deal on them that I just couldn't resist! :daumenhoch:

Deja vu post! Kind of:-

Delivered today:- those four RideNow poly tubes that I ordered last week. Unbloodybelievably light!! Scarily so. Now I just need to decide what wheels I’m brave enough to put them on. :D

Bought today, well, last night;-  Some DMR Vault pedals, in the oil slick finish as they’re the Lacon version. Used but in great-looking condition, famous last words. Will report back when they arrive. :daumenhoch:

I used those tubes on my road bike. Yes, very light. They do pop easily though according to my brother. Mine has been OK (rear is tubular so strong AF). They do go down a lot though and need pumping up every time you ride. Might be the valve, though.

Some used, magnesium-bodied, Wellgo pedals have just arrived. I bought them for my Quamen, only to realize that I already have some pedals set aside for that. ::)

They're a nice shade of dark grey, though, and super light too, so I may still use them on the Quamen or even give 'em a go on the Redline. :daumenhoch:

Odyssey have recently re-released their "Nightwolf" seats in black and grey, so I gave in to the temptation and have ordered a railed one. >:D

I swear turning 50 sets off a trigger in your body. Had Covid and then flu in a row from October til past Christmas, and now I am suffering from an infection. I won't go into it, because it will make you whince but yeah. I am not even capable of working on anything right now, let alone buying anything or riding. Fookin sucks :(

Hang in there mate! :)

Picked up that Nightwolf seat yesterday and it’s flippin’ cool! :coolsmiley:

I may run it on the Redline, so have been keeping an eye out for a black, railed post in the not so common (for BMX frames) 26.8mm. After leaving the bike shop, I checked out a secondhand store which sells bike parts and found a Thomson post in… yes, 26.8mm!! It has a few marks, of course but is straight and uncut!! Perhaps more importantly, it was half the price of used ones currently for sale online. Needless to say I bought it pdq!! :daumenhoch:

Wow I actually bought something.

I was gutted they had none in chrome. Searched for over an hour. If you are not familiar with the shape....

Basically on my S&M NBD I ran short of cash toward the end for cranks. I bought some very battered Demolition Medial cranks which got a knock after I painted them (so a big chip in the paint). There is also a big dent in the back of one of the pedal bosses. So I am going to paint those yellow and I ordered these from Del.

And when I say paint I mean properly. As in not acrylic. I will paint them with this.

And then give them 2k clear. I have a load of parts to paint green, so I ordered plenty of clear. I will just shoot the clear at the same time.

Sadly not.

About 7 weeks ago I noticed like a sore on one of the twins. At the time I had no idea what it was. Bit itchy for a few days... Well then it spread. Like all over my old chap and down between my groin. I went to the doc, and he thought it was thrush. Gave me one pill and some cream. I swear, that was the gnarliest pill I have ever taken. Made my head crash, sweats etc. Well it just made it 10x worse. I looked like a red cauliflower down there. Got back to the doc 4 days later and I had been bleeding a lot. I still had no idea what it was. This time he gave me some steroid cream and some strong painkillers. I had to sit on a towel for about a week. I could not even put on PJ shorts as it was so painful. The cream sort of worked, but it only got to around 95% better. Weeks later I went back to the doc. This time he has given me some cortizone cream and anti biotics, after I realised what had actually happened....

I am a bit obsessed with self hygeine. So I have been erm, shaving down there for many years. Well one time I forgot to do it and got in the shower and grabbed a razor. Must have nicked the sack, and got an abscess. Which then got infected, and the treatment for thrush literally fed it. So here I am two months later still trying to heal it. The worst is now gone. Only problem is the ABs are giving me the squirts ffs.

The cranks came in. I swear they are absolutely identical to these.

So I am stoked. Just need to paint them yellow now.

If I ever find time to paint those cranks yellow I am also going to change the fork on my S&M NBD. They were painted with acrylic and it got badly chipped. I just wanted that bike to be all new.

I got another set of those. Again in white.

That sounds quite horrific dude. I’m glad you are on the mend and a bit more comfortable. Yeah sometimes the squirts are the price you pay when using AB’s. I hope they along with the cream sorts it out once and for all.  Anyway, give my love to the twins  :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

Yeah on a fun scale I would deffo give it a 0  :LolLolLolLol:

It's still there. Well, I say there, but now it's at the top of my thighs. I am hoping it will go, I CBA going back to the doc for a 4th time ffs.

Fork came in. Cranks are here, bolts, stickers etc. Ordered some washers too !. Just been stupid busy. I had one of those convos with mum about two weeks ago. "Hmm, I wonder if we could get new doors for the kitchen?". FFS  :LolLolLolLol: Been working my ass off, but she's worth it. One of those ideas that quickly escalates !

Still, it will buy me enough "No complaining about bike resto" tokens for the year I reckon  :LolLolLolLol:

Some BMX shit.  :LolLolLolLol:

I really want to paint my knockoff Profile classic cranks yellow. Thing is whilst there is gold on the bike there is no other yellow.

So I snagged those. I am going to paint the cranks next week.
