Start with a frame, think yeah I'm gonna make a rat build I can throw about, end up spending hundreds and taking ages on it to make it an era correct bike with my favourite parts, and end up constantly upgrading and changing it. Although if i can find a dirt cheap late 80's haro frame(hint hint ;) ) I'll definitely make a rat build next time round :)
