i dont know what size standard clamping area is on a bmx stem. does anybody know? also does anybody know where i may find short rise style bars to fit it
these mtb and road bikes are all over the place with sizes its a joke
sawzall:
i have these if they are any good to you?
Rodgy1970:
Is it a quill or ahead stem you are after fitting?
bmxbert:
its an a-head stem im building a singlespeed road bike to get to work on and want to use bmx stem. ive found out they are 22.2 clamping size but most bars in a straight or road bike style have a largr clamping area. i just need to find a company that makes suitable bars now.
annd swaz thanks for your offer but im building up a modern road bike so them bars wouldnt be any help good to me.
Gary72:
Try looking at junior race bikes, They range from 2 inch rise up to 4 inch without a cross bar, Should be strong enough for a FIXIE to ride to work on. :LolLolLolLol:
Or have a look at these
