Those were my all time faves pal, still fit in them now and they are seriously comfy. You cant wera them with pants though  :shocked:

I found this on the tinter web from another not very happy customer.


I am a customer of GoldStriker.
I purchased a gold plated iPhone3GS 2 years back from them.
Then i ordered 6 gold plated iPhone4 and Gold Plated MacBook Air from him.
He said he can not make MacBook Air. [after visiting Computer-Chopper.com i understood his limitations]
Then i transferred him INR625000 = 7800GBP for 6 gold plated mobiles.
And this cheater cheated me by taking all my money. He managed to send only 2 mobiles out of 6 and now pretending that his company is taken over by his wife & her boyfriend so he cant handle this order any more. We have already filed case against him with Mumbai Police, Cyber Crime, UK Embassy etc. Mumbai Police is planning Red Corner Notice against him. We are trying to launch a complaint against him in UK itself. We have all evidences of him communication, money transfer and cheating. If anyone of you can help me to get this guy behind the bars then i will be really grateful to you. Atleast help me to expose me to media and police so that some more people will be saved from his fraud and cheating..

I can send you physical/electronic copy of evidences of him communication and how he cheated.
You help and support required!

I was a goldsmith years ago and gold plating don't last it is basically gold anodising but much thiner we used to gold plate cheaper 9 ct  stuff to give it the kick that higher carat gold has,
its not illegal i just puts the ing into bling factor.
Gold leaf is completely different it is actually 22 ct gold sheet which is a few microns thick which is brushed on with a fine brush,aA bit like the mrs  blusher !!
the surface to which it is applied to has to be a bit pitted or sand blasted so the gold leaf can fill the pits and it built up from there until covered it is then finely lightly buffed to we resistant to water and dirt this is what is used on fancy buildings and statues etc.On stuff like exposed car parts (and maybe bikes) it won't be much more than gold coloured chrome which is probably chromium with a higher copper or brass content to make it yellowish.
And if there is thin plastic stickers as a bike would have on the electro plating defo won't touch under it,we used nail varnish when we didn't want Gold plate on specific area's of jewellery.
