--- Quote from: brettypeeps on June 01, 2012, 12:31 AM ---Mine are insured on the house insurance uproar £2500 per bike with no maximum number of bikes. I have to pay extra to have them covered away from the house. This is with Aviva I think. I will check when I am back in the UK.

I think you need to check if Aviva know they are collectables as opposed to normal bicycles, collectables may be viewed differently by high street insurance companies.

I had long discussions with them to ensure it was all ok :daumenhoch:

Good stuff but also make sure they are specified on your Schedule of Insurance with an agreed value.
Buildings £x amount
Contents £x amount
Haro Master 1985 BMX £x amount
Discussions and having it in black and white are two different things with an insurance company.
Aviva are a pretty good company so I hope you're sorted right :daumenhoch:.

GUYS STOP ....... u can speek to your insurer till your blue in the face... its the under writter that will decide wether you get paid out or not. and thats how insurance companies get out of paying out . so before you sign up to an insurance policy and think youve got fully covered , find out who under writes the policy and speek to them . :daumenhoch: words of wisdom trust me 8)
