front wheel centring washer?
bobbbbsy:
what do you call the washer that goes on the outside of the fork on the axle under the nut that centres the axle in the dropout on the fork for 10mm ? anyone got some to sell or a link ? thanks
TwoBobRob:
A 10mm wheel into a 14mm fork yes?
Most people call them wheel adaptors or words similar.
Stodgy has them in the shop.
bobbbbsy:
no all 10 mm bro. they just take up the bit of slack that is in the fork cut out so the axle dos not sit on the upper edge of the metal!
i know what a 10 -14mm adapter is. im not that dumb! :LolLolLolLol:

Sorrrrrryyyyyyyyy.............................. :-[
However, the thing you're talking about doesn't exist. The axle does just sit right up there metal to metal in the fork dropout.
Unless you mean the hooked washer deal that comes on some new bikes, a washer with an 'ear' on it that sits in a small hole in the dropout?
Everyone I know throws them straight in the bin mate.
bobbbbsy:
thats the one ! where can i find this bin full of the things ! they rock my world !! :LolLolLolLol: :daumenhoch:
