Grip dying problems

Dunno.
I Put a stickie up of my own.
I just chucked a load of Dylon ina massive pan, filled it with salt, and boiled the fook out them for hours.

did you use a fixer ?
some rubber will not dye and some gets lucky
dylon works best on nylon, which it sticks to - seats have a mixture of plastic and nylon ~ this is why they dye well - grips don't have nylon in them
acetate can also be use to help it fix onto the grips

So what should I do/use to optimize adhesion...??!!
