What paint strippers do not harm chrome?

Need to get some spray bomb off a bike I have just bought, help me guys :daumenhoch:

Non of the regulars harm chrome Lucas - Gasket remover, Nitromors etc - just be aware that Nitromors and shop brand strippers are cack now - although if it's spray bomb they should still shift it :)

As Danny says, no paint stripper will harm chrome.  Even heat doesn't harm it, I have heated a seat tube up to bend it back into shape with no damage to the chrome.

Try Acetone or petrol if its spray paint as they evaporate very quickly especially Acetone which is available at boots or a weaker form of it is mums nail varnish remover. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES THOUGH!
