Thanks Chaps, that clears the name thing up. :)
But which is the better quality on the later parts Tuf Neck or Pro Neck, or both the same? Should you pay more for one than the other? :-\

You'll probably pay more for an earlier square backed stem than a round back . ::)
Never noticed a difference in Tuf or Pro neck quality to be honest ???
You may pay more either ,,,depending if you like Tigers more than Bulldogs ;)

the pro neck bulldog stems with the bulldogs head on stamped very clearly are quite sought after and hard to get. There was an issue with these where the stamping didn't work out too well, then they stopped doing them so the one's that did turn out go for quite a bit.
The square early stems stamped pro neck are pretty rare too, i had heard about them but not seen one before, then in the last few month 3 of them surfaced on ebay usa. I managed to get hold of one for my team rampar, Toby and Jeff were sponsored by pro neck just after they changed to the name from being one of the two tuf neck companies.
here is marky p's bulldog :smitten:
And an earlier square pro neck stamped stem like Glen's in the other thread. (i have seen a black, blue, red and silver of these now after not seeing one at all. I imagine they did gold too but haven't seen one yet)
I think the rest of the pro neck & tuf necks are pretty much personal preference but these two are a bit special.
