After four builds I should know this by now.......

A noob question, I know, and you would think I would remember after four builds, but here goes...

Bearing races in the headset and BB orientate oppositely, as I remember, but which is which?  :-\

In a headset do the open side of the races face outwards towards the crowns, or inwards towards the cups?  ???

Ditto for the BB races (OPC Looseball)?  ???

Open bit always  faces the crown Rich   :)

i.e

both face outward on conventional headset

both face down on a Hatta or Tange 125 lp type headset
